TUMBLING AND GYMNASTICS COACH

Coach Corinne was six years old when she began competitive gymnastics in Richmond, Virginia.  In high school, she joined her school’s cheerleading squad as well as the local competitive squad as the tumbling specialist.  After graduating from high school, Corinne began her coaching career as a recreation instructor and level one pre-team coach at Richmond Olympiad Gymnastics Club, the same gym that trained her a few years prior.  In 2005, Coach Corinne moved to Honolulu, Hawaii where she worked for Hawaii Academy, a trampoline gymnastics gym, and Hickam Gymnastics Center.  While at Hawaii Academy she taught all levels of recreation gymnastics classes, tumbling classes, adult gymnastics classes, adult fitness classes, and private lessons.  At Hickam Gymnastics Center, Coach Corinne taught all levels of recreation gymnastics classes, adult gymnastics classes, private lessons, and was co-coach of the competitive team,. 

She is USA Gymnastics safety certified, USASF credentialed to Level 5, NCSSE Coaching Stunts and Tumbling II certified, and First Aid/CPR certified with seven years of coaching experience.

Coach Karin has been cheering for as long as she can remember. She began cheering at her elementary school in a small town in Indiana. She then continued to cheer for her school through junior high. In high school she decided to join an all-star competitive squad. After cheering for several years on her senior squad she was then asked to coach her teams level 2 mini squad. Several months later she became the assistant coach for the youth, junior, and senior squads.

Coach Karin is Level 5 certified with USASF

Coach Jerica has been cheering since she was in Kindergarden on Whidbey Island. She has cheered on the Oak Harbor youth cheer team for several years. As well as cheering for Liberty Cheer for three years. She has cheered on her highschool cheer team for two years and has won many state and national titles. Coach Jerica also cheered on Island Cheer this past season. Coach Jerica is is USASF certified to Level 2, AACCA certified, WSCCA/WIAA Stunt Training certified and CPR/First Aid Certified.

Tyler is a Sophomore at Oak Harbor High School, he has been a member with Island Cheer Extreme both as an Assistant Coach for the Youth team and a Senior Team member.  Tyler is level 1 & 2 certified with WSCCA and USASF.  He is continuing as Assistant Coach throughout his High School years hopefully leading him to College at the University of Washington.

Ms Carolyn became involved with cheer when her daughter started cheering for Libery Cheer All-Stars 4 years ago.  When she heard Liberty was closing she decided to keep competitive cheerleading in our area by opening a gym in Skagit County.  Blessed with a willing and very talented in Coaches, we are on our way to developing a premier cheerleading program.  Ms Carolyn is USASF certified to Level 2, AACCA certified, WSCCA/WIAA Stunt Training certified and CPR/First Aid Certified.
